Why This Music for Tao of Youth?
It is widely known in the scientific community that certain degrees of emotional stress will change the physiological state of the skin which is scientifically referred to as “galvanic skin resistance” (or response). Due mainly to emotional stress, this electrical resistance in the skin can limit or counteract the therapeutic effectiveness of lotions or biological formulations that could otherwise assist in the healing process. A simple psycho-galvanometer was the earliest tool to measure the resistance of the skin to the passage of a very small electric current. This electrical resistance is affected, not only by the subject's general mood, but also by immediate reaction. Although the subject was written by Tarchanoff in 1890, it has been only within the last 25 years that the underlying causes of this change in resistance have been discovered.
Certain types of music are more effective for helping us relax and therefore allowing our skin and body to absorb nutrients better.
